Happy Mother's Day

Let me start this out by saying, don't skip over this if you aren't a mom. I think there's something in here for everyone. Second, this will be short but I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the day and my view on it.

Each and every one of you reading this whether it be on this Mother's Day or not, are at a different stage of motherhood and even life, so I wanted to do something to relate to all of you. I hope this helps us to remember too, that we're all in this motherhood thing together. None of us are perfect nor should we pretend to be. Not a single one of us has our shit together.

First and foremost, let me shout out and give an enormous thank you to my Mama. She's my rock, my friend, the best Grama there ever could be and she'd do just about anything to make sure her family is safe, healthy and has what they need.

To my tiny humans - thank you for making me a Mama and loving me even when I've been unlovable. I know our story has been rough up until now, but the rest of the book is what I'm looking forward to the most. I love you both to the moon and back!

To the single Mamas - you're amazing! Thank you for taking on the role of Mom and Dad for your kids, it's not an easy task.

To the Mamas without Mamas this year, may you find peace and joy knowing they are watching over you.

To the Mamas of grown babies - may you be proud of the people they are becoming or have become and know that they couldn't have gotten there without you cheering them on.

To the Mamas of little ones - may you always remember to be present in their lives. They won't remember the things you bought them, they will remember whether you were there or not.

To the Mamas soon to be - may you always remember to trust your instincts and love those babies hard in this world we live in.

And to the Mamas still praying and those that have loved and lost - may you always remember that God has a special plan for you. Stay strong, have faith and I hope one day soon you'll have your answers.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of my favorite Mamas!! May you all learn something from each other daily!
